Today is the second day of my project.
I wrote a letter to our local hospital, praising the care that my daughter had received as a patient there. I know that nurses, like teachers, work tirelessly, with very few accolades, and are often the unsung heros in the world of patient care. I just wanted the administrator of the hospital to know that these nurses were wonderful, caring, and truly professional when it came to the care of my daughter.
It didn't take a great sum of money - only a few minutes , and the cost of a stamp to write and mail this letter.
Small things done with great love. That is what this project is all about.
